FROM THE PASTOR
Church Family,
What a great day we had Sunday! Dartha and I are so encouraged by
your words and excitement to move toward the “next thing” God has for
us!
This Sunday (January 31st) is the final wrap up of the series
“Basic Gear for Life’s Journey”. We will also be having Jake Jernigan,
Dan Shurley and Nick Lewis all from Westlink Christian here to lead us
in a great morning of worship
This week; “My Ministry @ Work” will pull all the things together
we have talked about the past four weeks. God has given all of us the
joy of serving as His hands and feet. We’ll look at some practical ways
to do just that! Please invite your friends and family to come with
you. We will be having a good time of fellowship prior to the worship
gathering, and then we will celebrate with outstanding music. I am
excited that the ones so involved every week and dedicated to serving
will be able to sit back and worship.
We’ll see you Sunday.
Blessings,
Jay

CHURCH GROWTH
Valentine Dinner
During February, we treat our favorite honey with gifts and special
treats. Often this includes dinner to your favorite restaurant. How
about letting us treat you to a great dinner? We will be serving a
buffet with Mexican food. This dinner will be here at the church on
Saturday, February 13 at 6:00 p.m. If you need a baby sitter, one of
the youth will be providing that service. The cost of this dinner is
$12.00 each. Tickets will be available the next two Sundays following
worship. If you are writing a check, please make it out to Lenora
Heath. She will be using this money to buy food for the dinner. Please
join us for an evening of great food, fellowship and celebration of
this wonderful holiday. We will be ending our evening with a fun game
of B-I-N-G-O. We know this will be an evening to remember.
UFO-Craft Night
This Friday night January 29 is our monthly (UFO) UnFinished
